Our unique, fun and creative methods introduce very young children to the joys of theatre as they bring to life a charming fairy tale. Each lively, action-packed 45 minute class is divided into three segments. The children will learn a sense of rhythm and timing through the music and movement portion of the class. They will be introduced to simple production crafts as they make their own sets, props, head shots and lobby display artwork. Finally, the young actors will be taught basic acting techniques as they are led step by step through the rehearsal process. Parents and friends will be able to enjoy the final performance by these young actors as they combine their freshly honed skills and brilliant imaginations to present such well-known classics as The Three Little Pigs, The Tortoise & The Hare, The Little Red Hen, Chicken Little, Goldilocks & The Three Bears and Little Red Riding Hood. Craft materials are all provided.
Munsch for Munschkins
Age 5 to 7

Children have fun and gain confidence through our unique, fun and creative methods in Munsch for Munschkins. Each lively action-packed 45 minute class will be divided into three segments. The children will learn about theatre and rehearse their acting techniques, rhythm and movement during the theatre game portion of the class. They will be introduced to simple production crafts as they make their own head shots, sets, props, and lobby display artwork. Finally, the young actors will be taught basic acting techniques as they are led step by step through the rehearsal process. Laughter and applause are guaranteed when the children perform a zany Robert Munsch stories for parents and friends on the last class. Some of the popular stories include Moira’s Birthday, Pigs, Thomas’ Snowsuit, Mortimer, David’s Father, Something Good, Show & Tell, I Have To Go and Stephanie’s Ponytail. Craft materials are all provided.
Show Biz Kids
Ages 8 to 12
Monday, March 22 to Monday, June 7
Time: 6:30pm-7:45pm
8 – 75 minutes classes
Fee: $130.00
10 to 16 participants
Kids will be dropped right into the world of Show Biz in this dynamic and unique program. Children will take on the roles of Agents, Casting Directors, Set Designers, Script Writers, Stage Managers, Directors and, of course Actors, as they write, produce and star in their very own original production. Taught in a fun and creative atmosphere by theatre professionals, the children will prepare for their performance of a “choose your own adventure” style play to be performed for family and friends on the last class. Craft materials are provided.
